Nasal spray

Bioglan AB has, together with Malmö University and Nares AB, been awarded a research grant from the Knowledge foundation (www.kks.se) for a cooperative project titled: "Mucoadhesion – A prerequisite or a constraint in Nasal drug delivery".

Bioglan will through the participation in this project strengthen their knowledge base in the nasal drug delivery field and thereby create a good base for new development projects.

The Biofilms-Research Center for Biointerfaces, which is the participant from Malmö University, has a profile that promotes good relations with partner industry.

“Research collaboration with industry is very valuable for us, says Johan Engblom, Associate professor at Malmö University, and manager for the current project. It provides a balance between academic research and market needs. It also motivates our students and gives them a good insight in how development projects are run in the industry.”

The project will run until the end of 2013.
