Bioglan bidrar till välstånd framför allt genom de varor och tjänster vi producerar. När vi är framgångsrika skapas nya jobb hos oss och i förlängningen även i andra företag och mer skatt kommer in till samhället. Förra året bidrog vi som företag och våra anställda genom våra skatter med omkring 12 000 000 kr till välfärden i Sverige! Bioglan tar matchen varje dag. Analytisk kemist, högskoleingenjör i kemi eller biomedicinsk analytiker, gärna med några års erfarenhet från läkemedelsbranschen.

Erfarenhet av HPLC- och GC analyser samt arbete enligt GMP och Farmakopéer är meriterande. Datorvana samt kunskaper i engelska är ett krav. Som person är du noggrann, ansvarstagande, flexibel, målmedveten, stresstålig och har lätt för att samarbeta i grupp.

Birgitta Svensson from Bioglan will be one of the speakers. The presentation has the following title. Topical drug delivery: overcoming the barrier of the skin The skin is designed to be a multifunctional interface between us and our surroundings; nevertheless exogenous molecules can enter the body through this barrier. This presentation will give an introduction to the skin and the latest research in skin morphology and how this knowhow can be used when designing optimised products for topical drug delivery to a specific site on or in the skin. Birgitta Svensson, Ph.D. in physical chemistry, is head of development at Bioglan AB, part of Reig Jofré Group. She has been working with product development within topical drug delivery for more than 10 years. She started as project manager with scientific, technical and quality responsibility. The last years she has the overall responsibility for the development department while still being the scientific partner in initial formulation development and research projects.

Bioglan has entered a collaboration project with Malmö University

Bioglan will through the participation in this project strengthen their knowledge base in the nasal drug delivery field and thereby create a good base for new development projects. The Biofilms-Research Center for Biointerfaces, which is the participant from Malmö University, has a profile that promotes good relations with partner industry. “Research collaboration with industry is very valuable for us, says Johan Engblom, Associate professor at Malmö University, and manager for the current project. It provides a balance between academic research and market needs. It also motivates our students and gives them a good insight in how development projects are run in the industry.” The project will run until the end of 2013. A system for stabilizing emulsions has been developed at the division of Food Technology, Lund University. A potential use for these types of emulsions is in topical creams for both cosmetic use and as a drug delivery formulation / medical device. The specific project aim is to further develop the composition of the model cream to obtain one or few relevant test products for further trials. The project will be performed together SPEximO and Bioglan.
